Looking for a Meatloaf recipe you can count on? One you dont have to drench in ketchup to make it taste better. This family recipe is one you will keep around for years!
I am very picky when it comes to meatloaf, as im sure many of you are. Some people hear the word "meatloaf" and are just disgusted. One bad meatloaf recipe will make you not want to try meatloaf ever again. I do have to say I wont even order meatloaf at any restaurant, and even unsure when friends make meatloaf for dinner. I will say i have never liked another meatloaf recipe besides my familys. Even my hunny Jeff has never had a liking for meatloaf but ill tell you what, this is one of his favorite meals. This recipe will have you wanting seconds and I guarantee this recipe will be a keeper!
Place all of your ingredients in a bowl and dig in with your hands, mix mix mix!

Once mixed well and hands are washed place in a 9x10 casserole dish and mold into loaf
Once molded pour the sauce you made over the entire loaf. I know it looks like too much sauce but trust me most evaporates. Then place it in the oven at 350 degrees for 2 hours basting every 30 min.
Once done you may notice that even though you used a good lean meat you will still have some oil from the meat sitting on top of the sauce. Simply skim it off mix the sauce and pour over your slice! Try with some mashed potatoes my personal favorite or even some buttered noodles. Have leftovers? Try it on some bread and make it a sandwich, trust me its to die for!
