Photo by FLKeysJen This soup is loaded with spicey Italian sausage and vegetables cooked in a rich tomato broth. Carrabba's (www.carrabbas.com) is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant and if you’re a fan of Carrabba’s you will love there Sausage and Lentil Soup, Serve this with a loaf of fresh bread and you’ll have a meal that will please just about anyone.
* I love this recipe but I love to make this soup with some added bacon, you may make it with or without bacon but i just love how much more flavor it brings to the soup. * There is nothing better than cheesey potatoes! This recipe is so easy and delicious you will scrape your dish clean!
While my hunny was outside grillng some pork chops I thought I would do some trial and error in the kitchen. I am tired of the same mashed potatoes or rice as a side dish so I thought I would try and make some scalloped potatoes. I havent eaten scalloped potatoes in years, and the ones out of the box are just not pleasing and filled with chemicals! So basicly I took my macaroni and cheese recipe, made a cheese sauce and added potatoes! No onions or any other fancy ingredients, this recipe is kid friendly and easy to make. This is a quick and tasty side dish, which goes wonderfully with grilled meats, and salmon. Orzo is a great choice, when you are looking for a quick side. It cooks faster than rice and is a great alternative to risotto.
The aroma of this classic beef stew is irresistible, making it impossible not to dig in the moment you walk in the door. This is a very basic beef stew. It's easy, delicious and inexpensive to make. While there are hundreds of variations of this traditional recipe its hard to improve this savory and comforting goodness. You will love this thick and hearty stew so much its definitly a keeper.
This recipe is a great "leftover" meal! So dont throw out that left over roast beef or chicken! These beef chimichanga's are super delicious and easy, you can have dinner served in 15 min
Soft corn tortilla's filled with green chili's and chicken smothered in enchilada sauce and cheese!
Sausage gravy topped over warm flaky biscuits is the ultimate breakfast!
Biscuits and sausage gravy is a beloved Southern recipe, and this recipe has a bit of a bite to it. There are many variations of biscuits and gravy to be found, but this recipe you will find a few different ingredients im sure you will enjoy. I recently saw sage flavored pork sausage at the store and thought it would taste delicious as a sausage gravy. A mixture of sage and nutmeg reminds me of Thanksgiving, and nothing is better than a good Thanksgiving meal. With these spices added to sausage gravy makes for a killer biscuits and gravy you will never forget! Husband pleaser! This Southern Classic is my version of Smothered Pork Chops! Pork chops over creamy mashed potatoes smothered in mushroom onion gravy!
Okay so I really am a steak and potatoes type of gal, but truth is Chicken is healthier depending on how cooked.. I just get so bored with eating chicken, everytime I cook it, it has to be a different way. Which leads me to this delicious recipe, Bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breasts! Everyone loves bacon, and wrapping it around chicken makes its absolutely to die for! Tender, juicy, and to top it all off filled with cheese's and a little kick of Jalepeno.
